Austin Center RADIATION Oncology

This week Jim Bergamo of KVUE News did a Special Report on the age group most affected by testicular Cancer. Click here to see the full story with Dr. Richard Garza, the radiation oncologist at The Austin Center for Radiation Oncology. You’ll also hear from one of our patients, Thomas Suethe, about his journey battling testicular cancer, and hear what Thomas is telling his son, Carter, about the importance of doing monthly self-exams and early detection.  Carter is in the prime age group, young men age 15-35, at risk for developing testicular cancer.  If caught early, testicular cancer is one of the most curable cancers. Monthly self-exams and reporting any lumps or abnormalities to your physician are critical to successful treatment of testicular cancer.
